5 Antique 1832 Scottish Sterling Silver Horseshoe & Wing Crest Serving Spoons
Presented is an antique set of 5 sterling silver serving spoons made in Edinburgh, Scotland in 1832. Each handle is done in a classic form and is finely engraved with a detailed horseshoe and angel or bird wing crest.
The back of each spoon is marked with the tower mark for Edinburgh, the thistle for sterling silver, a duty mark of the king’s head, a date letter A for the year 1832 and a maker’s mark.
This piece is in excellent condition.
