Presented is a great French wall hanging bronze of a young man in high relief profile.
This piece displays the head and shoulder of a young man with wavy hair and
flowing fabric. The quality of the casting is very good, very detailed and lifelike down to the boy's curls, open expression, and the realistic folds and draping of his clothing. The bronze has a fabulous, even patina. There is a strong chain
on the top by which to hang the bronze.
The bronze is marked on the side “E Barbedienne. Fondeur”. This piece is in
excellent overall condition. The patina is even with practically no worn high
points. There are no dents, no breaks, and no repairs.
Measurements: 13 1/2 inches long, 10 1/2 inches wide, and about 5 inches
deep
