Presented is an antique pair of American coin silver serving spoons made by George Howe of New York City during the first half of the 19th century. These spoons were made around the 1820s or the 1830s. The handles are beautifully hand engraved with unique, ornate designs. Each handle has an old, original monogram of the letter H done in a Gothic script.

The back of each spoon is marked for George Howe and coin 900 purity silver.

This set is in excellent overall condition for its age.
