18pc Sterling Silver Towle Debussy Flatware Dinner Service Place Setting

Presented is a fine quality, sterling silver flatware set made by Towle. This set is in the Debussy pattern, which was patented in 1959. This is a flatware service for 4, although there is a teaspoon and soupspoon missing. The handles are decorated in classical flourish designs. The blades all have stainless steel blades.

This set includes:

• 4 Knives: 8 7/8 inches long.
• 4 Forks: 7 1/2 inches long.
• 4 Salad Forks: 6 5/8 inches long.
• 3 Teaspoons: 6 inches long.
• 3 Soupspoons: 6 1/2 inches long.

The combined weight of the set, not including the knives, is 726.6 grams or 25.6 ounces.

The back of each piece is marked Towle, sterling, Debussy and 1959. The knives are marked Towle, sterling handle and stainless blade.

This set is in great overall condition. Two of the spoons have damages to their tips, most likely from a garbage disposal, we have photographed the damages in the last photograph below.  As far as the other pieces go, there is minimal surface wear and no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.
