Presented is a wonderful English Georgian sterling silver platter spoon or stuffing serving spoon. This spoon was made in 1808 by Thomas Wallis II. The spoon is done in a simple, classical form, with a long handle and slight downward turn to the terminal. The spoon is well made, with a nice feeling of weight and balance in the hand.

This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

This piece is hallmarked on the underside with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for the city of London, the date letter N for 1808, King George III's head duty mark, and the maker's mark for Thomas Wallis II.

The spoon is about 11 3/4 inches long.

This piece weighs 103 grams or 3.6 regular ounces.
