1753 Georgian English Sterling Silver Creamer Clean Interior No Mono
Regular price
$416.00
Presented is a classic English sterling silver creamer from 1753. This piece displays a threaded base and stylish handle. The creamer is clean and free on monograms.
The underside is marked with full English hallmarks. While slightly worn, we were able to make out the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for London, and the date letter for 1753.
There is also a maker's mark that definitely begins with a “W”; the second letter is more unclear, but we believe it may be “WD” for William Dorrell.
This creamer is in great overall condition, especially considering age. There is one solder repair where the top of the handle meets the body. This repair has been done well. There are no other breaks or repairs.
Measurements:4 1/8 inches from spout to handle and 3 1/8 inches tall
Weight: 121 grams or 4.3 ounces -kc
