Presented is a lovely 10 piece Korean silver and enamel fruit set or dessert
set. This set dates to around the 1970s-1980s. Each piece is elegantly enameled with colorful flowers and leaves on the front of the handle. The set comes in a nice fitted box.
Each piece is marked on the reverse with a hallmark that is a little indistinct. We have tested the silver with nitric acid and guarantee it to be high purity silver, certainly at least sterling (925) but potentially pure (999) silver.
The spoons are in good condition overall. There are some flaws to the
enamel, but nothing too serious. In the photographs it looks like there is
corrosion to the tops of two of the spoons. This is not corrosion it is just
the green enamel. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The five fruit or dessert forks are 4 3/8 inches long.
The five fruit or dessert spoons are 4 7/8 inches long.
The weight is 101.3 grams or 3.5 ounces.
