Presented is a lovely pair of Gorham sterling silver ice cream or dessert spoons. These spoons are made in the elegant Lady Washington pattern, which began production in 1876. As the name suggests, this pattern features a design of a lady's head in profile, surrounded by ornate scrollwork and floral swag decoration, against a finely textured background. Each spoon is monogrammed MT in flowing script.

These spoons are in great condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each spoon is stamped with the Gorham maker's mark as well as sterling and the patent date of 1876.
Each spoon is about 5 5/8 inches long.
The total weight for the pair is 48 grams or 1.7 regular ounces.
