Presented is an antique, Russian silver and cloisonne enamel napkin ring made in 1892. This late 19th century piece is very decorative and completely handcrafted. The silver is gilded and the outside of the thick ring is beautifully decorated with colorful cloisonne enamel designs. The center cartouche has never been monogrammed.
The outside bears the Russian 84 mark for 84/96 or .875 purity silver and also has a date of 1892 as well as a maker's initials.
This piece is in excellent overall condition for its age. There is some damage to the beaded edge right below or above (depending on how you are holding the piece) the cartouche.
Diameter: 1 7/8 inches.
Height or Width: 1 5/8 inches.
Weight: 46 grams.
