Presented is a great pair of Georg Jensen sterling silver sugar tongs. These tongs are made in the popular Cactus pattern, which began production in 1930. As the name suggests, this pattern features a stylized cactus design, in the modernist Danish style.
This piece is in great condition. The tongs work well. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The tongs are stamped with the Georg Jensen maker's mark as well as sterling and Denmark.
The tongs are about 4 1/8 inches long.
The tongs weigh 26 grams.
