Regular price $352.80 $0.00 Unit price per
Presented is a handsome pair of English Georgian sterling silver sauce or gravy ladles. These ladles date to 1800 and were made by William Eley & William Fearn. The ladles are made in a classical form, with a distinctive downward turn to the ends of the handles and a pip or rib on the back of the terminal. Each ladle has a monogram of D in Gothic script on the front of the handle.

These pieces are in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

Each piece is hallmarked with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for the city of London, the date letter E for 1800, King George III's head duty mark, and the maker's mark for William Eley & William Fearn.

Each ladle is about 6 3/4 inches long.

The total weight for the pair is 89 grams or 3.1 regular ounces.
