Presented is a lovely, sterling silver cheese scoop made by Gorham. This piece is in the Covington pattern, which was patented in 1914. This piece is elaborately engraved with detailed scrolls and flowers surrounding a monogram of the letter F in a Gothic script. This piece is a heavy weight for its size.
The back is marked with the Gorham hallmark and sterling.
This piece is in fabulous overall condition and the engravings are crisp. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
The scoop measures 7 inches long and weighs 48 grams or 1.7 ounces.
