Presented is an antique, English sterling silver cup or mug made in 1815 by Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard I of London. This piece is done in a classic form, with bands of threaded design and a wonderful acanthus leaf accent on the top of the handle. This 19th century, Georgian piece is engraved with the names: Douglas, Rachel and John. The inside has a light gold wash.

The cup is marked with the crowned leopard's head for London, the lion passant for sterling silver, a duty mark of the king's head, a date letter U for the year 1815 and a maker's mark for Rebecca Emes & Edward Barnard I.

This piece is in great condition for its age, slight dent to the top rim, but this is hardly noticeable.

Height: 3 1/8 inches.

Weight: 141 grams.
