Presented is an antique, American coin silver pocket knife made during the 1860s or the 1870s. The silver case is hand engraved with lovely Victorian style decorations. The front of the knife has a monogram of the initials CNH. The knife and pick are secure and tight in the case. There are 3 strong silver rivets that hold everything together quite well.
The piece is marked coin for 900 silver purity on one blade. Both the front and back covers, as well as both blades are coin silver. The structure underneath is steel
