Presented is an elegant Tiffany & Co sterling silver footed tray. This piece dates to circa 1907-1947. The surface of the tray is beautifully hand chased around the rim with swags of bellflowers and foliate medallions, with a circular design in the center of scrolled foliate and fan or shell shapes. The tray is raised on a low, round foot, suitable for a wide variety of serving purposes.
This piece is in great condition. The tray has been professionally cleaned. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The underside of the piece is stamped with the Tiffany & Co. maker's mark, sterling 925-1000 and the initial 'M' for the company director between 1907-1947, John C. Moore II.
The dish has an approximate diameter of 10 3/4 inches and stands 1 1/8 inches tall.
This piece weighs 576 grams or 20.3 regular ounces.
